I'm generally pretty curious about temples because they're so architecturally interesting from the outside, so I know a little bit about what all the different rooms are for (well, the baptism room is pretty self-explanatory, and so is the sealing room, once you read about the sealing itself), but what is the celestial room for, if you don't mind explaining?

ALV,

The Celestial Room symbolizes the highest heaven. At the end of the endowment ordinance, we enter into God's presence by going into the Celestial Room. And I have felt God's presence there.

It's a reward.

In the Celestial Room, there are no ordinances performed. Rather, it's a place of meditation and reverence. It's a place where I go to get away from the world and to feel close to God.

I hope that explains things. Let me know if you have more questions.
