According to a recent statistical study, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is now the fourth largest church in the United States.
Check back to my blog later today because I will be posting an article about Mormon Temples. It's the topic I've been most excited to write about when I started this project, but it's also the topic I have to be most cautious about when explaining because of the sacred nature of what we do within the temple.

You are sounding mysterious Craig. I just may have to check in while I am watching the selection show.
Will you be discussing the blood oaths?
*blood antonement
There is no such oath or practice within the temple.
Anonymous,
I've been writing about the temple and realized that you deserve more of an explanation.
Mormons do not believe that Jesus Christ paid the price of sin for those who delibrately murder another human being. Brigham Young taught that murderers (and I'm paraphrasing) should have their blood shed to pay for their murders. (The Death Penalty). Because Christ did not atone for their sins, murderers should atone for their own sins by shedding their own blood. Hence, the phrase "Blood Atonement."
so i guess King David wouldn't be able to receive the blood atonement today
