Seven Rules for Discussing Religion
1. Never attack someone else's beliefs. 2. Declarations of sincere belief are always welcome. And if you wish to rebut someone else's belief, then do it by expressing what you believe, NOT by pointing out which points of doctrine you find to be silly, erroneous, or misguided. 3. If you want to know what members of another religion believe, go to them and not to their enemies. 4. Always judge a church by its best members, never by its worst. Those who fail to live according to the tenets of their religion are not representative of that religion. 5. Leave room for divine envy. 6. Everyone has the right to believe or not what you are saying. 7. Listen (in this case read) for understanding, not to plan on what you will say to refute what the other is saying.
It seems that interest in my blog has waned to nothing, as evinced by the lack of comments for the past few months. It has been a great experience sharing with you my faith and beliefs. But since this blog was about you, and not me, there doesn't seem to be a reason for maintaining it any longer.
As always, you can contact me if you have questions about Mormonism. If I get enough, I may reconsider re-starting the blog.
Until then, it's been a blast.

Look on the bright side...more time with us! ;) WE love you!
Well, I read your posts, though I don't always comment. But I'm not rally your target audience. And it's a lot of work for not a lot of payoff. Good luck with everything else! (And if Misty is feeling like she plays second fiddle to the blog, maybe it's not so bad ;-) ).
Here’s a million dollar question – If you were to die right now, would you qualify for the celestial kingdom? If you’re like many Mormons, you’re not sure. You try hard to be as good as possible, but you still don’t know if you’ve done enough. If the Book of Mormon is really scripture, this hope will always elude you. Alma 11:37 says God cannot save you in your sins. Are all of your sins forgiven? Moroni 10:32 says you must be perfected in Christ, which can only be done by denying yourself of “all ungodliness”. Have you done that? Do you repent on a regular basis? Is so, then it is clear that you sin on a regular basis, since only those who break the commandments need to repent. 1 Nephi 3:7 states that you are able to keep His commandments. In fact according to D&C 25:15, you are required to keep them continually! Since you haven’t done this so far, why assume you will in the future? Of course, we should all try to be holy; but if you think that sinning less will qualify you to live in God’s presence, you are mistaken (Gal 3:1-11). The assumption that good works are required for forgiveness only cheapens Christ’s atonement, making it nothing more than a partial payment. God chooses to justify us by faith. Jesus alone does the “perfecting” (Heb 10:14). God gives peace to those who trust in Him alone. If you don’t have this peace, it’s probably because at least a part of you trusts in yourself. FTK, I have seen you post these half truths on other blogs. I hope that you are truly deceived, because if you are trying to spread the Word by spreading what you know to be lies, you do not worship the Christ that I know, love and worship. The Christ I worship taught men to love one another and to serve one another. He is a God who taught no deceit.
Now, lest anybody who is genuinely unsure be misled by FTK, here is the truth. The scriptures teach us what we need to do. FTK is actually using the very same deceptive trick that Zeezrom tried and that Amulek was responding to. Helaman taught his sons about this very incident. He taught his sons that the Son of God should not save His people in their sins, but He should save them from their sins. (Hel. 5:10 -- 11).
I worship the Christ who suffered in Gethsemane that those whoso repents might be saved from his sins. FTK is preaching a Christ who has no power to save, and I know no such god.
If you want to learn what Mormons really believe about Jesus Christ, about hope, and about salvation, go to www.mormon.org Or read Pres. Dieter F. Uchtdorf's talk "The Infinite Power of Hope." Does this sound to you like a faith that teaches despair and uncertainty? The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not a Gospel of fear and doubt. It is a Gospel of hope. We can hope in the Lord Jesus Christ, because the Lord's promises are sure.
Further the Kingdom,
First, if you hadn't noticed the seven rules posted at the top of this blog, you should read them now because you have violated them all.
Second, I testify that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only True and Living Church on the face of the Earth. Jesus Christ Himself stands at its head. He speaks through living Prophets and Apostles. The Book of Mormon is True. Joseph Smith was a Prophet, and Thomas S. Monson is a Prophet and the only man who holds the Keys which had been bestowed on Peter anciently.
I love you, and God bless you.
P.S. I'm working on a book that I hope I'll be able to publish which outlines the doctrine of Christ's Atonement as taught in the Scriptures (all of them, including the Book of Mormon, the Bible, etc. . . .) You'll be very surprised to learn that our views don't differ as much as you assert. Look for it in a few years. It'll be called, The Redemption and the Resurrection.
P.P.S. Mormons just say that they aren't sure if they'll make it to the Celestial Kingdom to avoid sounding arrogant. If I or Sean or any other active Mormon were to die, we'd end up in the Celestial Kingdom. We've accepted Christ, made covenants with Him, and are now under Grace, not the law of Justice. (Just a little preview into my future book).
Craig--
Are you really working on a book? That's great! Let me know how it progresses...
Hi Craig
I stumbled across your blog on LDS BLOGS. I thought you mighe be interested in a site my wife and I just built called MormonsMadeSimple.com, which uses simple, explanatory videos to explain the Mormon faith. Feel free to feature any of these videos on your blog, or just share them with non-member friends. We're hoping these videos will be missionary tools to help members share their beliefs. Anyway, sorry to spam your comments section. I couldn't find any contact information for you on your blog.
